ENTERTAINMENTS.
CORONATION BA Z A AR
The Garrison Hall was a source of great attraction last evening, and large numbers of people from the country districts who a,re in town for the show and races availed themselves of the opportunity to visit- the Coronation bazaar. The excellent, displays made at the various stalls of useful and serviceable articles appealed to all, and in consequence the funds were considerably augmented. Art union, tickets for valuable prizes were on sale- as udual, and quite a large number were disposed of. An excellent programme was provided, and was heartily appreciated Iv ail. present. Tonight further entertaining items will be added to the programme, when MrMcKniglit, champion stepdancer of New Zealand, will make his initial appearance before a Gisborne audience. Professor Cardston and M-iss Cardstan, Iris sister, will also dance together. The prize-winners are:—Messrs Pister, MeKnight, A. Roche, E. Mama:mg, M. Nee nan,, G. Lyndon, L. Track, C. Curbs, Ed. Williams, AV. Crop, A. Sea-rle, H. C. .Jack-sen, J. G. Kelly, W- AY. Smith, J. Martin, M. Keenan. C. Frampton, K Ilossbothaim. F. S. Harding. G. Lee. H. Ross. G. K. Pasil'ey, and E. Classen- Ticket No. .9128 in a raffle, for a cushion also won. hut the name thereon could not be ma le out.
