CRICKET.
P.B. ASSOCIATION
The usual weekly meeting of the Management Committee of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association was held last evening. There were present: Messrs A. R. Gatland (chairman), H. Ctanney, J. Golding, A. Redgrave, A. S. Seymour, B. O. Jeffries, E. AV. Harvey and P. Allen. ThepJhambra Club was granted per-missicA-d to play a match with the Te Karaka Club. The Association decided that no pnactice be allowed during the progress of any match, and that all spectators be charged admission fees. The matches for this week were arranged as follow: THURSDAY. United A. v. United 8., concrete. Y.M.C.A. v. Alhambra, turf. SATURDAY. —Seniors. — Taruheru v. Y.M.C.A., at Taruberu. Wanderers v. United, Victoria Domain. —Juniors. — High School A. v. Wanderers, Asphalt No. 1. High School B. v. Y.M.C.A., Asphalt No. 2. Alhambra v. United, concrete. No. 1 Ashpalt refers to the wicket on the far end of the Domain.
