MOTHERLAND AND THE COLONIES.
QUESTION OF CO-OPERATION.
(United Press Association—Copyright.) (Received Nov. 2. 12.10 a.m.) LONDON. Nov. 2.
Lord Selbourne, addressing the Imperial Mission meeting at Queen’s Hall, said that each part of the oversea dominions would have to decide in war time whether or not they would actively co-operate with the Motherland. Both the great parties desired to take the Dominions frankly into their confidence on questions of foreign policy, in order to ensure their approval, and even more than active co-operation. The point was whether a better organised co-operation for common purposes, including defence, was possible or not. The answer must come from the Dominions.
