PERSONAL NOTES.
Mr Harle Giles, Conciliation Commissioner, arrived in Gisborne from A'uekLl Mr J C. St X d parker left for Napier en route for Waipawa by tihe Mono war l<V The V Rew. e W. Grant left for the South by the Monowai last evening. He will attend the meeting of the Genera Assembly to be held at Dunedin, and will probably be absent about a fortnight. Mr M. McLeod also left for the south on the same mission. Mr Percy H. Harris arrived from Auckland by the Monowai afternoon to.relieve Mr S. S. Dean in the management of the local branch of tn South British Insurance Company, while the latter pays a visit of inspection to the various agencies of the Company in the district. The Hon. A. T. Ngata and Mrs Ngata and family returned to Tokomaru from Wellington on Saturday. Mr Langlands. of the firm, of Langlands and Co,, the contractors ior the extension of the breakwater, is expected to arrive in Gisborne on Wednesday.
