ARGENTINE SHIPMENTS. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Nov. 7. The Department of Commerce lias received the following cable from Buenos Aires, dated 7th November. The following shipments of produce were despatched from Argentine to the United Kingdom ports during October, 1911 (compared with October 1910): Frozen beef, for 1911, 125,000 quarters; 1910, 95,756. Chilled beef, 189,000 quarters, 153,771 quarters. Frozen mutton, 184,000 carcases. 260,574 carcases. Frozen lamb, 40,000 carcases, 19116. Butter, 1840 cwts., nil. GOLD OUTPUT. (United Press Association—Copyright.) BRISBANE, Nov. 7. During October the Mount Morgan gold reduction works produced 3975 ounces from 9349 tons of ore. The copper reduction works produced 581 tons blister copper, containing copper 580 tons, gold 5336 ounces. The total value of the output was £68,193.
