SUMMARY AND FORECAST. (Per Press Association.) i WELLINGTON. Nov. 7. Strong westerly winds have obtained 1 the predominance to-day, and showery weather has prevailed on the' West Coast and southern districts of the South Island, and local showers in parts j elsewhere. The barometer has risen in the North, hut fallen steadily in the South. Present indications are for increasing and squally -westerly winds everywhere. Unsettled and cloudy weather with rain is probable elsewhere, with showers in parts. The barometer is unsteady, and a further fall is anticipated.
