GISBORNE SITTINGS.
The Tairawhiti District Maori Land Board met yesterday. Mr H. Carr, Registrar of the Native Land Court, presided. The following applications were approved : —Confirma-tipii of lease : 149 acres, Mangapoike 2A, No. 1, for 21 years, from the proprietors of Mangapoike 2A, No. 1 block, to Elbe Jean Glassford (Messrs Chrisp and Coleman); confirmation of alienations, (transfers): Rakaikekioa A 3, Hori Ea Taituha to Ernest Edward Dain Hooper (Mr Hoi), Mangaone 2A, No. 6, Mereana Wiripo to Samuel Kirkpatrick (Messrs Chrisp and Coleman); Te Rato No. ID. Mere Hura to Lydia Louise Walker (Mr Matthews). Waiomoko No. IC, Heni Rakaia to Ellon Hurrey (Mr Burnard), Waiomoko No. 2D, lluia Rangalieke to Win. Hawker Williams (Mr Burnard), Paeroa IE No. 10, Hirini Ilautai and others to Catherine Bourke (Mr Nolan); applications for precedent consent, lease: Tokomaru B No. 108, Natives to John Green (Mr Bright); transfers, Tokomaru B No. 9E Karini Muliu and Tamati Mnhii to John Green (Mr Bright), Rangaiohinehau 4B No. 3B Natives to Stanley Kenneth White (Messrs Chrisp and Coleman), Puhatikotiko No. SA Miini Kerekere to Jas.
