SOME BRILLIANT RUNNING BY DONALDSON. (United Press -Association. —Copyright.) MELBOURNE, Not. 14. Donaldson and Postle made three extraordinary brilliant '• championship sprints. Postle won the 80 yards race by a foot in 7 4-osec even. In the 50 yards’ race, Postle broke away suddenly, and Donaldson was unable to catch him. Donaldson won the 100 yards’ race by six inches in {) 3-g sec. In the 50 yards Postle again broke away, the champion overhauling him on the post. In the 110 yards, Postle looked safe at 100 yards, but Donaldson, by a tremendous effort, won by four inches in 10 4-ssec. LABOR DAY SPORTS. The following handicaps have been declared for the Labor Day sports, to be held to-morrow: — 100yds.—H. C. Davy scr., G. Pollock 2yds, L. Davy 4yds, E. Worth 6yds. E.
