MARLBOROUGH SHOW

(Per Press Association.) BLENHEIM, Nov. 14

The effects of a difficult season are reflected ini a slightly reduced number and a diminished: quality of the entries ot the Marlborouigjb. A. and P. Show, which opened to-day. The entries total 900. as against 950 for last year, the shortage being mainly in the sheep and domestic produce classes. Championships in, sheep were awarded as follows : Merinos, C. Gnu Iter; Lincolns, D. Bishell:; Romney Marsh. Themes Hunt; Shropshire. IT. D. Vavasour. In the maiden ieaping competition a horse named Ira struck the hurdle, and fell on Mr. Lewis, the rider, breaking the latter’s collar-bone-.
