THE WRECKED MARGIT.

LOSS CAUSED THROUGH CARH-

LESSNESS.

(United Press Association—Copyright.) ADELAIDE, Nov. 22.

The position of the barque Margit. is unchanged. She lies on an even keel, with the sails sot. ’Phe cargo is practically undamaged. The Marine Board inquiry found that the loss was caused by careless navigation and general neglect of the recognised rules of navigation at night. When the disaster occurred the master was not on deck. The evening watch of the vessel was left in charge of an uncortifieated officer. The Board discredited the suggestion that the current caused the less.
