“Suicide while insane” was the todict at the inquest at Latch ford, near Warrington, England, recently, on Mr. Hubert Congreave, chief engineer of the Manchester Ship Canal, who was found dead in the Ship Canal with a bullet wound in his breast. It was stated that ho had been worried about his work owing to the recent strikes and the scarcity of water. The medical evidence showed that he had been suffering from a, nervous breakdown.
