ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

FOUND DEAD. (Per Press Association.) MASTERTON, Nov. 24. John Smith, a farmer at Opaki. was found dead in a swamp near his house this morning, with a gunshot wound in the lower part of his body. At the inquest or the body of John Smith, a verdict of suicide while temporarily insane was returned. The evidence showed that the deceased, who was a married man with ten children, had recently been depressed in spirit, after an attack of influenza.
