CHING MURDER CASE.
EVIDENCE BY A DETECTIVE

In the Ching murder case Detective Head stated that he spoke to Dooley Khan, and asked him about Silva's statement as to the shooting. He replied that he was at a neighbor's at the time the shooting took place. Butler also denied knowledge of a conspiracy to kill the family. Ching, the father of the murdered children, gave evidence. He denied, as alleged, any suggestion of marriage between the Hindoo and accused and his children. AA'hen witness wanted to search the house, accused tried to prevent him. The case was adjourned.
