The trial of Jas. Edward O’iSh.au gnossy. Charlotte Campbell and Mary Hassell, charged with having been accessories after the fact of tlie death cf Elsie Alexandra Holland, was proceeded with in the Supreme 'Court to-day. A quantity of evidence was taken and the' case was not concluded when the Court rose.
Counsel for Martha Jane O’Shaugnessey has intimated that he intends on ask leave to apply to the Court of Appeal for a new trial on the ground that the verdict of manslaughter was against the weight of evidence. The judge will consider the application.
