LADY ISLINGTON.
LECTURES ON KINDNESS 10 ANIMALS.
(.Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Dec. 2. Lady Islington and party, who were the guests of Mr and Mrs A, E. Roberts. at Teviot station, returned to town this morning, and proceeded north to join His Excellency. Yesterday her Ladyship motored to Roxburgh and visited local schools, Avhere she was received by the Mayor and a- guard of honor of the school cadets. Her Ladyship ay as much pleased with some action songs, complimenting Miss Geades (the mistress) and giving a short address on elementary cubes. She strongly emphasised the need for children treating all the Aveaker animals with kindness. She aftenvards paid a vsit to the orchards of Messrs MoMillcn and Wain-th and Sons. Tlie party returned to Miller’s Elat, -where her Ladyship Visited the schools and delivered another address.
