There is much unrest among the postal authorities at Mr Samuel’s refusal of an inquiry into the wages conditions until 1913. when a- commission will he appointed after the Board of 'lVade enquiry into the cost of living will have reported. Extremists urge a strike at Christmas.

The Premier, in the House of Commons, hinted that he would favorably consider the earlier appointment of a committe of inquiry into wages paid to postal employees.
