9TH (WELLINGTON, EAST COAST) ' MOUNTED RIFLES.

Parades for December —"A’’ Squad ron:

Squadron Parade.—The Squadron will parade mounted at the Polo Paddock, Makauri, on Saturday, 16th December, 1911, at 3 p.m. In order to proceed to above parade troops will assemble as under: —Nos. 1 and 2 Troops at Garrison Hall, Gisborne, at 2.30 p.m. ; No. 3 Troop at Matawhero saleyards at 2.30 p.m.; No. 4 Troop at Polo Paddock, Makauri, at 2.30p.m. Dress: Drill order.

Troop Parades.—Troops will parade dismounted at 7.30 p.m. as under: Nos. 1 and 2 Troops at Garrison Hall. Gisborne, on Wednesday, 13th December, No. 3 Troop at Matawhero Hall O'- Tuesday, 12th December; No. f T.-'Hip at Waercnga-a-liika Hall on Thursday. 14th December. Dims: Drill order. Signallers and trumpeters will always parade with No. 1 Troop, unless otherwise ordered.

To Karaka Troop of “D” Squadron. —Mounted at Te Karaka on Thursday, 21st December. 1911. at 2.30 p.m.; dismounted at Te Karaka Hall on Thursday, 21ft December, 1911, at 7.30 p.m. Special Parade of Non-Commissioned Officers. —The non-commissioned officers will attend at the Squadron Orderly Room. Garrison Hall, on Friday. Sth December, at 7.30 p.m. for instruction. Tho officers will also attend. Discipline.—The attention.of all ranks is specially directed to Sections 35, 40, 52, 55, 57, 62, (53, 64, 65 of Part VI., Section 14 of Part VIII, and Section 97 of Part X of the Defence Act, and paragraphs 176 to 214 inclusive of the Regulations for the Military Forces of New Zealand. Orders of Dress. —Hats will be worn on all mounted parades and the N.P. forage cap on all dismounted parades. Spurs are to he worn on all parades and drills. Non-commissioned officers and ■men enrolled prior to Ist April, 1911. must obtain hats from the quartermaster sergeant prior to mounted parade ordered for 16th December. The Q M.S. will attend at the Garrison Hail on Wcdncsdav, 13th inst. C. HELLIER EVANS, Major, Commanding “ Commanding “A” Squadron.
