PATHE PICTURES
In accordance with their usual custom, the management of the Pathe Pictures will introduce a change of programme this evening. By special request one or two items of the previous series will be retained, and the most noteworthy of these _ is ‘The Way of the Eskimo,” which is a wonderful story told in a realistic manner. The setting is in the bleak ice fields of Labrador, and many phases of the film enlighten the onlookers concerning the life and habits of these dwellers in ice houses. Of-the new items, “Bess of the Woods” is one of the best, it being an inspiring story of a beautiful character.- r . 1 “The Backwoodsman’s Suspicion” is a drama of many merits, and feeling attains a high place in it. The comic items are headed by “Charlie Smiler is Robbed” and ‘ ‘Foolshead’s -Last Roguery. ’ ’
