The aggregate assets and liabilities for the 'December quarter of the first two years make the following comparison :—Assets, December, 4 910, £27,590,043; December 1911, £27,461,836. Liabilities, £20,202,569 ■ and £27,450,469. Excess of assets, £1,35v,474 and £11,367. With respect to fixed and free deposits the returns show an increase of but .£867,812.
