-There was a good attendance at Messrs Williams and Kettle’s Horse Bazaar on Saturday,] when 75 horses were offered, blit•'•competition was only - fair. Hacks made from £4 to £l6, and 'harness horses from £6 15s to £J3. PRODUCE SALES. Messrs F. S. Malcolm, and Co. report on their Saturday auction sales as fellows: —Cockerels lid to Is 4d, fowls Is 4-tl to 2s, ducks Is 9d to 2s, eggs Is, new potatoes 8s 9d sack (ewt), old potatoes Bs' 6d sack (full), cabbages Is 3d to Is Cd Vioz., rhubarb 4« doz., cucumbers 2s doz., peas Is ,'3d peck, beans Is Cd peek onions lid io, plums Ifo to 2d 1 lb, apples I-Jd to 3d lb apricots 3£d lb, peaches 5s 3d to 6s 6d case. Messrs Miller and Craig report that the following prices were, realised at their auction sales on Saturday: Hens Is 4cli to 2s, chickens 6d to 10d, roosters 2s .to 2s 2d, ducks lid to Is Tld, potatoes pi to Id lb., marrows os doz., onions 2d lb, apricots 2d lb, plums lid and 2d lb, a.pples 2d lb, butter lOd lb, eggs lOd dozen. •CLEARING SALE, On Friday Messrs IF. iS. Malcolm and Co. held a clearing sale at Mr N. Jacobs’ farm, Waerenga-a-hika, when the following prices were realised.Sows £2 7s 6d' to £4 each, dairy cows £5 15s to £8 15s; mare £l7 and a quantity of poultry Is (kl to 2s 10d each. .A pair of imported white leghorn roosters made £l7. Everything was disposed of at satisfactory prices.

LONDON, Jan. 19. 1 At the wool sales, there was spiritecj competition, American buyers being keen for good crossbreds. | Messrs Dalgety and Company, LtdJ have received the following cable from their London office: —“Wool sales continue firm to medium. Crossbreds suitable for America 5 per cent higher. Butter, position unchanged. Copenhagen official quotation is 3s 3d lower.”
