Isabella de Fraine, topsail sell. Kereru, sch. Matatua, s.s., in the bay. AwaniiL sell. Messrs Huddart Parker and Co’s steamer Victoria is expected to arrive from Sydney via Auckland and Tokomaru Bay to-morrow afternoon. The Tuatea will connect on arrival and at 7 p.m., and the Victoria will resume her passage to southern oorts later in the evening. The Union S. S. Co’s Monowai is due to clear Napier this evening for Gisborne, and should arrive in the roadstead at an early hour to-morrow morning. She will be tendered at 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., and will proceed to Auckland via Tokomaru Bay about noon. The Union Co’s steamer Squall, which Left Auckland at 4.45 p.m. on Saturday, arrived at Tolojia Bay at 3.30 a.m. .yesterday. She left that port at 10 a.m., and arrived at Gisborne about 2 p.m. Ligh variable winds with considerable swell were experienced throughout. Her cargo was as follows: —SSO bags cement, 300 bags salt, 380 bags sugar, 40 bags Sour. 20 bags potatoes. 180 bags coal, 10 bags sago. 'l4O sacks bottles, 110 sacks flour, 64 sacks sugar, 161 casks benzine, 10 casks kerosene. 25 casks whisky, 20 casks ar-'d. 20 casks salmon, 18 casks tea, h) casks bananas, 40 reels wine and a large quantity of general cargo, including transhipments ex "Zealandia. "Croydon” “Maheno,” “Morea,” and “Endeavour.” The Squall will load sheen and will proceed to Whangarei to-day. The topsail schooner Isabella de Frame, which left Tauranga for Gisborne on Saturday morning, arrived here early last evening after a smooth passage. Her cargo consists of 73,000 feet of timber for local merchants. The Canterbury Shipping Co’s Petone is exoected to arrive here from southern ports' on Tuesday, 27th inst. On completing her discharge she will load sheep and will return to the south. The barque Tliora, which has a cargo c: coal from Newcastle, came up into the r. adstead last evening, but went away infco the offing as darkness settled down. She is expected to return to the bay this morning. Tim schooner Awanm arrived m the bay from the north last evening. She has a cargo of timber. The Union Co’s cargo steamer Kowhai is clue to arrive at this port from the south towards the end of the present week. .... . , The Shaw Saviil and Albion Co s Matatua arrived in the roadstead last evening from Port Chalmers, and will commence loading for Home this morning.
