'The attendance was very satisfactory, and speculation was brisk, the sum of £10,069 being put through the total isator. as against £8604 for the corresponding meeting of last year. The Dunedin Jockey Club was not favored with particularly fine weather for the opening of the Autumn meeting today. showers falling at intervals and strong winds prevailing.
