The Dunedin Jockey Club was not favored with particularly fine weather for the opening of the Autumn meeting today. showers falling at intervals and strong winds prevailing. The attendance; was good, but hardly up to that of the opening day last year- The sum of £15,115 was put through the tote, as against £14,814 10s for the corresponding day last year.
