STARTLINC ALLEGATIONS.
HAVE “DOUBTFUL” MEMBERS BEEN BRIBED? “SCANDALOUS INTRIGUES.” In the meantime tlie intrigues that are going on with a view to getting members to break their pledges are becoming a positive scandal. Little coteries of electors. are being got together to pass resolutions to ask men to go back oil their pledges 5 and certain members have stated in the presence of witnesses that they have been offered bribes to change their votes. It is just as well that the country should know what is going on. It is not suggested that these bribes have been offered by anyone in Parliameat, but that they have been offered is undoubted.
