INTER-UNJVERSITY TOURNAi PRESS ASSOCIATION.] C _ DUNEDIN, April 9. The University tennis tournament was finished to-day. The weather was fine in the morning, but was wet in the afternoon. The finals resulted as follows: Ladies’ Singles.—Miss Cross (Canterbury) heat Miss Tcnnent (Wellington), 9-6. Ladies’ Doubles.—Misses Cross and Jamieson (Canterbury) beat Misses Hunt and Farnie (Otago), 9-4. Men’s Singles.—Final between Jennings and Smith, both of Canterbury, will be played in Christchurch. Mon’s Doubles.—Jennings and Smith beat Cleghorn and Parker (Wellington), 6-2, 6-3. Combined Doubles.—Miss Cross and Jennings beat Miss Tennent and Clegborn, 6-2, 6-0. OTAGO ASSOCIATION’S TOURNAMENT. DUNEDIN, April 9. The Otago Lawn Tennis Association’s tournament was continued today. Showery weather interfered with play, and the. tournament was not concluded. In the final of the ladies’ championship singles. Miss Campbell (Dunedin) beat Miss Bloxam (Christchurch). 86. 6-1.
