LADIES’ CLUB. The Coronation Medal was played for yesterday The links were very heavy after the recent rain, and the scoring was not at all good. The best cards handed in were:—Mrs. Cole 105 (19 handicap) S 6, Mrs. Burke 110 (22; 88, Mrs. Barlow 107 (18) 89, Mrs. O’Meara 108 (17) 91, Miss Adams 107 (14; 93, Miss Sweet 105 (12) 93. The first- round of the tournament resulted as follows:—A Division: Miss Bull defeated Miss Sweet 2 up, Mrs. Morgan defeated Mrs. King, MrsO’Meara defeated Mrs. Cole 1 up, Miss Adams tied with Mrs. Barlow. B Division: Mrs. Traill defeated Mrs. Willock bv 2 up, Mrs. Scott defeated Miss L. Tuc'ker 5 up, Mrs. Bull won by default, Miss Coleman defeated L. King 3 up and 1 to play, Miss Davis won bv default, Mrs. Burke defeated Mrs- Adair 6 ui> and 5 to play, Miss Reynolds defeated Miss Tucker 6 up. The second round is to be played about Saturday week.
