LYSOL POISONING.
ANOTHER CASE AT AUCKLAND
[PEE PEESS ASSOCIATION.] AUCKLAND, June 8. Another case of poisoning by lysol Was added to the already lengthy list yesterday, when a man named John Robinson, 40 years of age, swallowed half the contents of a bottle.
Robinson was separated from his wife about four weeks ago, and is stated hv the police to have been drinking heavily since. He was removed to the hospital at about 8.30 p.m. in an unconscious condition. Subsequently -he partially regained consciousness, and at noon to-day lie was somewhat better.
His son stated to the police that, on a previous occasion it had been necessary to take a bottle of lysol from his father.
