‘‘THE GEISHA” PROBABLY TO BE PRODUCED.

A committee meeting of the Gisborne Operatic Society was held, last night, and was fully attended. A large amount of inaugural work was got through. It was decided to at once put in rehearsal the popular opera, “The Geisha,” if suitable arrangements can be madeIf “The Geisha” cannot be arranged for, “Dorothy” was decided upon as the next choice. A general meeting of members will be held in Wootton’s Rooms on Monday evening to consider rules and receive the report of the committee. All persons desirous of joining the -society should attend the meeting.
