SUPREMACY OF THE SEAS.
REMARKABLE ADVICE TO JOHN BULL AND CO.
LET OTHER NATIONS GET ON
EQUAL TEEMS!
[UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT] (Received June 27,. 1.5 a.m.) BERLIN, June 26.
The newspaper “Germania” ridicules Britain’s ability to continue naval expansion. It dwells on the seaman’s high wages; and the dearth of seamen. Britain’s internal position is highly critical.
It adds: —The real remedy is to abandon a policy of mistrust of Germany ; grant others the privilege of acquiring colonies, and acquiesce in the right of the passage of the Dardanelles and relinquish the idea of supremacy.
