HOCKEY.

MEETING OF ASSOCIATION.

The weekly meeting of the Hockey Association was held last evening in the Gisborne Hotel, Mr ©gilvie in tlio chair.

It was decided to select a ladies’ team to play a match against the representatives next- Thursday afternoon on the reserve, the following to be tlio team: N. Gallagher, G. Skinner, D. Keiha. M. Fromm, M. Thelwall, M, Bull, C. Baty. I; Parker, S. . •Plowman, M. McLeod, W. East p emergencies, M. Third, E. "Sharpin, A. Tuohy. Team to play in white blouses. Rep. team in rep. uniform. Mr 0. R. Olsen, manager of the ladies representative team which visited Christchurch, submitted a comprehensive and interesting report on the tour.

A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Mr Olsen on the successful manner in which he had conducted the tour and also to Mrs R. X. Jones for her able chaperonage of' the team.
