ANNUAL MEETING
The annual general meeting of the Alhambra Cricket- Club was held in the Alhambra Billiard Rooms last evening. There was a fair attendance of members. Mr J. R. McCnsky presided.
The report and balance sheet, the latter showing a good credit balance, wero read and adopted. It was decided to enter teams for the Thursday and Saturday .competL tions. .. ,
The election of officers resulted as follows : President, Mr G. E. Darton ; vice-presidents, Messrs T. Holdsworth, H. J. Grieve, A. Horne. Cutli Morse, Bert Lucas, Hazelby, R. Caulton, J. B. Leydon. N. Carter, and R. Rosshotliam; delegates t0P.8.C.A., Messrs E. Austin and M. Guthrie; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr P. Allen; captains, Thursday and Saturday, Mr Olsen; vice-captain, Thursday, Mr E. Austin, Saturday, Mr M. Guthrie. The election of captain and vicecaptain for the junior team' was held over till the day of the first match. A vote of thanks to Mr E. Austin for the use of the rooms was carried unanimously.
SOUTH MELBOURNE CLUB TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND,
