THE TEAMS
At the Management Committee meeting last evening a large number attended and a lot of routine business in connection with the visit of the Hawke’s Bay representatives next Saturday was gone into. ... The following team was selected to represent the district: — Goal. Crighton ; backs, A. Webster and H. Hughes; halves, Statham, Oates and Archibald; forwards, Dow-, nie, G. Webster, Fryer, Winks, and Sharpies. Reserves: Ren wick (goal), Hunwick (hack), T. Hannah (half), Burd (forward). The match is to take place at d.lo, and Mr Hull will act as referee. Our Napier correspondent wired last night that the Hawke’s Bay team was as follows:—Park, Walshe, Anker. Wilson, Common. Maylett, Ball, Bateman,. Herd and Murray. .' . , . ~ , , The Napier juniors have intimated their inability to come up this season, and in consequence a match lias been arranged between the team selected for the proposed. Junior match and a B senior team, to take place at 2 p.m. ‘The B team is as follows: —Goal. F. Clark; backs, Hunwick and Slingsby ; halves, J. Stone, J. Hughes, and
Bard swell; forwards, Barnicott, Burd, A. N. Other, E. Stone, and Shields. The Junior Hep. team is as follow's: Goal, Ren wick; backs, Gardiner and Falconer; halves, Wallen, Frazer, and West; forwards, Hodgson, Marshal], T. Hannah, Barnfather, and Menzies. Reserves: Oven den, McLoughlin, and A Howell.
