A heavy shower fell as the horses lined up at the post. Monojack was the first to show out, followed bv Soultikoff, Merry Roc, Rosea and The Hague were first into the straight-, the first-named winning in good style by a length. Rosea was fourth. Prince Soult and Lady Betty led past the stand, with Sea Elf bringing up the rear. Going down the back Bleriot ran to the front, followed by straight, and finishing full of running won convincingly by a length.
