MIXED FOURSOME. Mixed foursomes have always proved popular with members of the Poverty Bay Golf Club, and a good attendance is always assured when one figures on the card. The final mixed foursome of the present season was played on Saturday afternoon, when about 30 pairs competed. As tlie afternoon was"suitable to golf, the competition proved highly enjoyable, and some really good form was shown, especially by the ladies. The winners turned up in Mr and Mrs W. A. O’Meara, who with a handicap of 15, did the 14-hole course in S 3, giving them a net score of 68. The following are the principal scores: Mrs O’Meara and W. A. O’Meara S3 — 15 —68. Mrs Barker and C.
