MULTIFID is a good specimen of a sire He is a beautiful dark bay with black points, stands 16 hands, and is a very evenly-made horse. He is the first sire, I believe, in the Poverty Bay district to produce a classical winner. Being sired by that great horse Multiform, the winner of £7380 in stakes, and his dam Heiiot being by that great horse Grafton (one of the most successful sirens imported to Australia) should speak for itself as regards the breeding cl rac<horses. Multifid’s own performances ct the turf are too well known to reu'.ir. mentioning, as he has won races o'er all distances on most of the courses ir the Dominion.
