AUSTRIA AND RUSSIA’S AIM
STATEMENT BY AUSTRIAN FOREIGN MINISTER'.
(Received October 12, 1.5 a.m.) VIENNA, Oct. 11. Negotiations are pending. Austria and Russia are aiming at a policy of disinterested action based on the understanding that Novibazar remains Turkish.
Count Berchtold, in the Austrian Delegation, stated that the exercise of the Emperor’s protectoran over the Catholics in Albania was difficult owing to the prevailing excitement.
