A USTRIA N NEWSPAPER OPINION. (Received October 27, 5.5 p.m.) VIENNA, Oct. 27. The fall of Kirk Kilisse and the demoralisation of tho Turks have creat-

ed profound impressions. Influential newspapers declare and claim that the Turkish integrity cannot be upheld. The “Neue r ree Presse” says the status quo is snaken and the Powers cannot insist on confining the victors to the former limits.

The “Zeit” Says Europe must accommodate itself to revolutionary changes in the Near East. •

The Foreign Office, through the “Weiner Gazette” declares that Bussia and Austria must inform the Balkan kings at the rivht time that Turkey’s integrity must remain untouched.

The ‘ ‘Reichepost” says the status quo in the Balkans is dead, and that no diplomatic skill can revive it. Austria has neither the power nor the mission to prevent Turkey’s collapse. The newspaper hopes that it will be possible to reconcile Austria’s interests wilii Balkan expectations.
