(Beceived October 27, 5.5 p.m.) ATHENS, Oct. 27. After three days’ fighting the Turks retired to positions at Kiaffa. The Greeks are marching to Philippiada and Antestrebina.
Reconnaissana discovered the village of Koumtsades looted. The young males had been killed by the Turks and Arnauts (Albanians), and women and children were fearfully outraged. Eight hundred additional Cretan Tolunbeers have arrived. Fighting continues at Pin to pi gadhia, southwards of Janma.
The Crown Prince has entered Kozani unopposed. The ’lurks subsequently attacked the town, but were repulsed. The inhabitants of Kozbani welcomed the Greek cavalry brifia.de. M. Dragoumis (Greek Gfrurv****-Ge-neral in Crete) received an ovation on his arrival at Ganea.
