Results of the elections of president, vice-president, and organiser of tlie Federation of Labor are furnished in the “Yiaoriland Worker" as follows:—'President—P. C. Webb 4037. M. J. Savage 1153. Vice-president—W. E. Parry 2236, ,J. Dowgrav 1215, M. Fagan 1003, P. Richardson (370. Organiser—<ll. Semple 3034. T. H. Marshall 1233. Mr. AA’ebb’s heaviest polling was in Auckland, Chris thumb, Lyttelton, the West Coast Coalfields, AYaihi, Waikato, and Wellington. Mr. Parry’s were the same, with the exception of Canterbury, and Mr_ Semple’s vote wasc also widely distributed. The collections made tor the AYaihi and Iteefton workers to October 21 were .022.615. Australian contributions total £4550. The biggest N. /. contributions to date are: Granitv Miners £2205, State miners (Dunolly) ■ £1964, Deimiston miners £lBlO, Blackball miners £1699, and Waikato miners £1108; Wellington waterside workers (1000 members) £403. The Blackball miners number but 250, but they have contributed nearly £I7OO.
