GISBORNE CLUB. A hundred yards handicap race will be held in the school bath on Thursday, the 14th, at 5.30 p.m., for trophies kindly presented by Mr.. Stewart Hastie. Entries will be free to all swimmers. It is intended by the members to hold a race once a week if sufficient interest is maintained. A swimming carnival with comic events will probably he held in December. There is a possibility of a visit from the Napier Club this season, with a return visit from the Gisborne Club.
