No patent agent is competent unless ho is a. practical mechanical draftsman, lias scientific education, and is skilled in patent law. Messrs Baldwin and Ray ward, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin have thoso qualifications and are thoroughly trustworthy.*
