HASTINGS, December 29. The New Zealand Tennis Championship Meeting was continued at Hastings yesterday in splendid weather, and there was a good attendance.

Following are the results of the championships : Men’s Champion—Swanston. Ladies’ champion—Miss Gray. Doubles champions—Ollivier and Goss. Results of play: Men’s Singles.—Swanston beat Brown, 6—2, 6—2, 6—2; Swanston beat Fisher. Ladies’ Singles—Miss Gray beat Miss Ti avers, 6—o, 6 —2; Miss Hartgill beat Miss Clark, 6—4, 6—3; Miss Gray beat Miss Beard, 6-4, 6—4; Miss Gray beat Miss Hartgill. 2—6. 6—4. 6—3 j

Combined • Doubles—Olivier and Miss Hartgill beat Brown and Miss Gray, 6- 3. 9 -7; Fisher and Miss Travers beat Marge! icutii and Miss Clark, 6—2, 6—3. The Australasian- championships start to-morrow. The English team will arrive to-night.
