GARDINER (GORE) CARRIES OFF THE TITLE. [press association telegram..] GORE, April 2. The Australasian Draughts Championship was concluded late tips afternoon. The first game resulted in a win for Gardiner (Gore) and the second was drawn. Gardiner thus wins the title, a silver cup, to be held for-one year, presented by the Wellington Working Men’s Club, and in cash £2l. Hilliker, who was second, takes a prize of £l3 and Calderwood, who was third, -£B-
