This was a fast and open game, which provided plenty of excitement. Kia Ora had the better combination, however, arid this enabled them to win by 5 goals to 2. For tho winners, McLeod (2), Alorso, and AlcLachlan soorod goals, while for the losers the scorers wne Cassin and Huston. For Kia Ora I)'. Kahlenberg showed out pr- min ntly at centre half. D. Roderick, Huston and Cassin p’ayed. best for Mira-. Air Sinel was referee.
TAKAPA v. TE RAL
This was also a close and ' exciting game, which ended in favor of Tu‘kap«, by 4 goals to 2. For Tukapa, AlcLiskv, File. Ward, and Mofri'-n, while for Te Rau, AVaana and Turei did the trick. The game was very even up to within a few'minutes of time, when Tukapa came with a rush and scored a couple of goals in quick succession. /Hutton and Farquuhar played well fer Tukapa, while Armstrong did yeoman, service for Te Rau. Air. R . Grant was referee.
