DISCUSSED BY WELLINGTON
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
LPRES3 ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM] WELLINGTON, Oct. 6
The renewal of the San Francisco mail service was a question discussed! by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce to-day as the result of a recommendation by the Dairy Produce Section that it should be consulted before tlie contract is signed, and that tenders be invited on the same lines as is done in South- Africa, the Government stipulating fares, freights, etc. It was eventually decided that a deputation'should wait upon the Prime Minister in reference to the ’Frisco contract.
