ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS.
[Press Association Telegram.] AUCKLAND, July 22. The collision at the King Street level crossing between a train and a trap yesterday terminated fatally this afternoon, alien Mr Robert Barber, baker and confectioner, who was driving the,trap, died from his injuries. A photographer named Robert Love was this morning found dead in In’s studio in Ponsonby with a bullet yvound in his head One hand was clasping the muzzle of a pea rifle. ROTORUA. July 22. William Hartley, aged 40, employed by the Public Works Department in erecting a bridge at Okore, was drowned to-day thoinrh the collapse of a staging. Be leaves a wife and two children. His mate, named Pearson, was also precipitated into the water, but got ashore. Hartley's body was not recovered.
