SENSATION IN WELLINGTON.
SERIOUS SHOOTING AFFRAY. (Press Association Telegram.) WELLINGTON, July 27. A sensational shooting affray occurred in the city this afternoon, as a result of which a man named Harry Parslow was seriously injured. It is stated that about 4.30 p.m.. Parslow. who resides at No. 28a Martin Street, fired a revolver at Ernest William Oollingwood, a soldier in uniform, at. his house in Martin Street,' Parslow then turned the weapon on hin.'Vlf and fired a bullet through his head, the pellet entering behind one car and emerging on the opposite side of his skull. -Collingwood had a remarkable escape from grave injury. The bullet struck a metal hook on his uniform, glanced oil, and passed through the edge of the tunic, grazing his side. Parslow, who is 53 years of age, was removed to the hospital, and late to-night was in a serious condition.
