The premises of Sing On Kco, a well-known fruiterer and provision, merchant on Lambton Quay, were the .stone of a big robbery, evidently at a late hour on Saturday night. A sum of between £750 and £BOO was missed from a safe. Of this amount £6OO is stated to have been in sovereigns arid the remainder in notes, and access to it was- evidently gained by means of keys. Up to the present the occurrence is shrouded in mystery, and inquiries among Orientals for details about the affiar are met by the laconic answer: “Fleece say no-tellum paper.”
