The total amount of meat exported since the outbreak of war was rather greater than the total for the preceding twelve months. The Dominion had been a million carcases to the ..good up to the, end of-Febru-ary. In other words, the exports had been a million carcases above the normal. The shortage of ships had occurred in the succeeding three months.
