B ATURDA Y’S MATCH US. Tim junior Rugby match between Kaiti-City and High School provided an interesting contest on the Domain on Saturday. High School opened with some bright passing rushes and Kaiti-City also showed combination in this respect. Towards the end ot the spell, however, the game was strenuously, contested by the forwaids. Up to half-time there, was no score. In the second half the School backs again, got moving and gave a great, display, their attack on Ivaiti’s Hue proving irresistible. Ihe Kaiti team played with the doggedness and determination which lias characterised that club when it. has had its back to the wall, but on this occasion they wore unable to withstand the passing rushes of the School team, which, m the second half. put. on three tries. Those wore scored by Langlands. .McDonald and Priestly. The kick at goal in each instance proved futile, and the game ended in favor of the School by 9 points to O. high school h v. west END (3). On No. 2 ground the High School thirds succeeded in securing a victory from West End bv 11 points to 3. The School scored all the points m the first spell, tries being secured by Arthur and Woodward, Arthur converting one, while Richardson kicked a penalty goal. In the second halt West End played up better, and attei a determined attack Burt scored. Ibe try was not converted.
