Aug. 6. The Italians bombarded the BorgoLevico railway, destroying fifteen kilometres of it, and set fire to a train carrying troops to Rovcreto.. hive hundred of the Austrians perished. The Austrians then tried _ to get munitions through by the junction line, but the Italian gunners blew up eight waggons. After, eight successive attacks, the Italians captured several kilometres of Austrian trendies at Polazzo. The bombardment of G-orizia continues, and the Austrians have virtually abandoned the town, which is ready to be blown up the moment the Italians enter. Official: We captured extensive entrenchments at Carso dominating the eastern entrance to Cappuccio wood and access to San Marino.
